RideAbility is a Therapeutic Riding Program based in Clover SC. In September 2017, RideAbility hosted a Reins of Life, BBQ Cook-Off Fundraiser to raise funds for their program. Talk of the Town Carolinas host Patti Mercer interviewed Executive Director Dr. Wendy Schonfeld and Event Coordinator LyRae Davis to find out more about the event and RideAbility.
RideAbility is a Therapeutic Riding Program, Equine Facilitated Activity Program. Their mission is to offer a wide range of horse-related programs to children, adults, and families with special needs to promote the physical, psychological, emotional and social, well-being. RideAbility serves riders with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Visual Impairments, Cognitively and Physically Challenges, Learning Disabilities, Hearing Impairments, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Emotional Disabilities, Veterans with PTSD, Paralysis, Multiple Sclerosis, Sensory Integration Issues, ADHD, and Developmental Disabilities and others.
