It?s time for local home sales comparison reports. September 2008 home sales in Fort Mill SC was mixed with good and bad news. Homes sold were down 46%. Although I do want to point out that there were 23 additional homes under contract besides the 27 homes that sold in September. The sold price to listing price ratio was only off 2%. Days on the market only increased 15%. Fort Mill homes sold did not include Tega Cay home sales data but included Baxter village and other communities around Fort Mill.

So if the agent changed the price during the course of the listing the current listed price may not be the original asking price. Other market reports estimate home prices in our area are down approx 9% from last year.
